Deep Tissue Massage

This modality uses slow strokes and deep finger pressure to release chronic patterns of tension in the body. It is called deep tissue because it focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Techniques that utilize deep-tissue/deep-muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep-tissue massage, It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis.
